ELGO DEMETER, through the Institute of Genetic Improvement and Plant Genetic Resources, undertakes the allocation of fields of the Kalochori experimental farm for the installation of small-scale pilot fields, is responsible for the provision of the logistical equipment (e.g. electrical conductivity sensors for the automatic measurement of salinity for the on-demand information of the producers about the state of the field), the acquisition/processing of agro-physiological parameters in the cultivated plant under the influence of the different manipulations and the creation of the final innovative protocol in the production process.
Finally, takes up the writing of the deliverables, while in the context of dissemination, will inform and train operators of the production base.
